Grad Fair - MCV Campus
Oct. 8, 2018, 12 - 6 p.m., Barnes & Noble @ VCU Medical Center
(MCV Campus graduates only)

Grad Fair provides a one-stop opportunity to prepare for graduation: receive information about Commencement, complete pre-Commencement paperwork, network with VCU Career Services, review your post-grad options, learn about VCU Alumni and resolve any outstanding financial issues. In addition, you can purchase academic regalia, graduation announcements, class rings and diploma frames. Grad Images Photography will be there to take your first cap and gown portrait.

Grad Fair – Monroe Park Campus
Oct. 9 - 10, 2018, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Barnes & Noble @ VCU

Cultural Achievement Ceremony

The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA) will host its Cultural Achievement Ceremony for summer and fall graduates on Dec. 6, 2018. The Cultural Achievement Ceremony is a celebration of three programs: Donning of the Kente Ceremony, Latinx Graduation Ceremony, and Lavender Graduation Ceremony.

Graduates who would like to participate in the Cultural Achievement Ceremony must attend one of the following scheduled interest meetings:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 4 p.m.
  • Friday, Nov. 9 at 9:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m.

All interest meetings will last 25-30 minutes and be held at OMSA, located in Suite 215 on the second floor of the University Student Commons (907 Floyd Ave.).

At the interest meetings, students will receive important information to register for the ceremony. For questions, please contact OMSA at (804) 828-6672 or OMSA@vcu.edu.

VCU Commencement
Dec. 8, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., E.J. Wade Arena at the Stuart C. Siegel Center

VCU’s universitywide Commencement ceremony brings graduates from all schools and colleges together to celebrate their academic achievements. The annual ceremony features the president of the university and a renowned keynote speaker. This event is open to the public. Tickets are not required and seating for guests is available on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 9 a.m.
